VOLUNTEER INVOLVEMENT IN OUR COMMUNITY

Over the last seventeen years Jenna has been able to use her law degree and her love of sports to give back to her community.

For Pullman Regional Hospital

Jenna has been a member of the Planned Giving Advisory Council for Pullman Regional Hospital for several years. The council is made up of professionals in the community who advise on how to implement charitable giving in estate planning and/or investing.

For Veterans

Jenna volunteered by mentoring and supervising law students at the University of Idaho College of Law Wills Clinics for Veterans in the fall of 2023 and the spring of 2024. The Clinics provided free wills and estate planning documents for Veterans in Washington and Idaho.

For Families with Children with Disabilities

For several years, Jenna has volunteered to speak to parents at Colfax High School events for parents/guardians of children with disabilities. She has volunteered her time and expertise to provide guidance relating to guardianship and estate planning for families who have children with disabilities.

For Legal Services for the Community

Jenna has volunteered for Whitman County Legal Services and has worked pro bono to represent many individuals with low income or limited income.

Jenna has been a member of the Moderate Means program where Washington law school students provide the intake and help pair up people of moderate income with attorneys in Washington state.

For Local Nonprofit Organizations

Jenna has provided her legal services to several nonprofit organizations in the community, often at a reduced rate or pro bono.

For Sports Teams

Jenna, an avid athlete and sports fan, was her children’s soccer coach in the Pullman Parks and Recreation League. She also coached her daughter’s soccer team in competitive league play for middle schoolers. Jenna coached the Lincoln Middle School 6th grade volleyball team in 2019.

Women's Leadership Guild

Jenna is a member of the Women's Leadership Guild. Since 2015, the Women’s Leadership Guild has been building a tribe of passionate, take-action, community-focused women who want to empower women and children to live better, healthier lives. Through membership contributions and networking events, the guild awards grants to regional non-profits who provide shelter to homeless families, food to children in need, care for the aging and disabled, and support to grieving and orphaned children. Since 2015, the Women's Leadership Guild has successfully raised more than $265,750 in funds to support local non-profits and the hospital's highest needs
